You’ve come to the right place.

As a florist who specializes in events and weddings, choosing the bouquet is for me the starting point for all floral decoration choices for the ceremony and festivities.

Today, I’d like to share some ideas for various bouquets that are suitable for all styles, based on the flowers they include. There’s a good chance you’ll find one that resonates with you among these options!

The flowers you choose for your bridal bouquet and the floral arrangements for your wedding will create a unique atmosphere that reflects your tastes and personality. Stay Stylish with a Dried Flower Bouquet!

Are you getting married in the height of summer and worried that the heat will damage the flowers? Would you like your wedding decor to be both chic, elegant, and trendy? Dried flowers seem like the perfect option for you.

Dried flowers are very trendy and can create a variety of atmospheres:

  • Beach Getaway: featuring nude and pastel shades, wooden accents in your decor, and individually crafted flowers (such as in bud vases),
  • Countryside Chic: with vibrant colors and substantial bouquets,
  • Autumn and Terracotta: incorporating warm tones like chocolate brown and mahogany, paired with orange hues and off-white.

Whatever style you’re aiming for, you can choose to:

Mix dried flowers with fresh flowers.

In this case, their durability is similar to that of fresh flowers, as water can damage them somewhat. However, the result is often very stylish and adds softness and shine to your bouquet.

Only use dried flowers,

Your bouquet and decorations can be preserved for a long time after the wedding, keeping them as they are. If you choose this option and would like to add some color to your wedding, you can ask your florist to source some dyed dried flowers, which will add a touch of color to the arrangement. However, I recommend mixing them with natural dried flowers to avoid a look that’s too artificial.

Don’t Forget to Choose the Foliage!

One aspect that is often overlooked when selecting flowers is the choice of foliage. However, it greatly contributes to the overall style of a bouquet, through its shape, color variations, and volume.

To assist you, I’ve put together a short list of various types of foliage and the styles they may correspond to:

  • Olivier: dried flower wedding or chic bohemian style, with a Provençal vibe,
  • Eucalyptus: various types, very versatile foliage, especially used for bohemian and country weddings,
  • Ivy: perfect for creating cascading vines, ideal for a romantic trailing bouquet,
  • Somphalias or Pistachio: great for creating volume in floral arrangements, suited for a more traditional wedding,
  • Asparagus Fern: a delicate, finely cut fern that adds sophisticated details to a bouquet, especially lovely with pearlescent tones,…
